“ Lovely atmosphere and most importantly: good food. I had the chicken parmigiana and was happy to see that it was not just a thin slice of chicken. Recently I ordered this elsewhere in separate restaurants and it was hard to find the chicken under the fried cover! The accompanying pasta was perfect too! ”
“ Delicious food and nice ambience. Service was very good also. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend. ”
“ Not sure if any of the FEW posters who complained about the service were actually at the restaurant. For a small, casual place, this is absolutely the best service I have received in NYC. The spot is cute and quaint, the food is excellent and the espresso martini is out of this world. Visited yesterday for the second time in a month and they managed to surpass my high expectations. Brian, the manager has done an amazing job training the servers and bussers, and even though I am likely moving out of Manhattan, but will gladly travel 45 minutes to come back here Job Well Done !!!!!! ”
“ service was a bit slow. great martinis and pasta though! it was in a convenient location we walked to it after seeing a show. ”
“ While this spot looks a little touristy, the food and service were great! Our server was very enthusiastic which made us excited to try the specials. All the specials were fantastic!! The servers were very attentive and conversational. The restaurant at 10p on a Friday was not busy, a good spot for after a Broadway show and away from the chaos. Great spot for groups. ”
“ We were thirty minutes late for our reservation because of midtown traffic, but they still got us to the theater on time. I had a special that was fantastic - apple burrata ravioli. Would love to visit again. ”
“ Solid Italian spot in the city. Service was very friendly and they made you feel at home. Drinks were made well, especially the dirty and espresso martinis. Nice selection of bread for the table and the apps were great, we got the calamari and the antipasto. The chicken parm was very good - pounded super thin and a big portion. If you're a chicken parm lover - it's definitely worth checking out. We will be back for sure! ”
“ By far the best Italian food near Times Square! The restaurant has been in the family for years. ”
“ They moved back to Hells Kitchen and the foods as good as it's always been. Cozy warm ambience sets the stage for another good meal. I love supporting family owned and this still is one of my favorites. Started with mussels that were cooked perfectly. Next up was Pasta Vongole. Plenty of clams in a spectacular white wine, olive oil sauce on top of Al dente pasta. Dinner wouldn't be complete with out a Chicken Parm which IMO is one of the best. No matter where they are in the city, this is still one of my favorites, the food is always good and now that they are close to the theater, it's perfect for a pre-theater dinner. ”
“ Let me start off by saying my wife & I had a wonderful 33rd Anniversary dinner at Amarone Scarlatto's. Great service & my wife truly enjoyed her Pumpkin Ravioli & her Mozzarella, Basil & Tomato Salad. I on the other was a little disappointed with my chicken parm dinner. Seemed a little lite with the mozzarella cheese. The best part of my meal was my Caesar Salad. We started off Arancini which was just ok. I'll give it 4 stars solely on our experience not on my food. One thing I will say was everything came out very hot. Enjoyed myself but I'll try another restaurant next time we are in NYC. ”
